New offices for the Port Authority of Antwerp, a project by Zaha Hadid being constructed at this moment. The project includes a high-tech diamond-shaped building on top of an old fire station, an historic building. D-studio provided the pre-construction 4D site and organization model.
Mansions of Acqualina
Draper & Associates – 2014
The Mansions at Acqualina, located at 17749 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida is a 47 story, condo tower which will house the World’s Finest Residences. The Mansions at Acqualina has 79 private residences, ranging from 3 bed/6.5 bath to 6 bed/8.5 bath units. Features and amenities include two pools, cascading waterfalls, lush landscaping, oceanfront dining, poolside cabanas and lounges, a Grand Room, private cinema, children’s center, state-of-the-art fitness center and an indulgent Hammam Spa. The Mansions at Acqualina developer is The Trump Group, the contractor is Coastal Construction, and the A/E is Cohen•Freedman•Encinosa & Associates.
Largo Station
Draper & Associates – 2014
Largo Station is a large multifamily project located in Prince George’s County, Maryland. It is a 310 unit apartment complex consisting of 8 buildings, 1 large precast parking deck, 2 courtyards including 1 with a pool. The main concerns for the project were the foundations / podiums slabs and getting them sequenced so that the framing contractor would have good crew flow through the project.
Apollo Residences at Town Center
Draper & Associates – 2014
Apollo Residences @ Town Center is located off Winchester Commercial Parkway in Camp Springs, Maryland. It is a 417 unit apartment complex consisting of 6 buildings, a large precast parking deck and 3 courtyards including 1 with a pool. The main concerns for the project is the sequence of construction for piles, foundations & split walls to release framing. Also, the logistics between the construction activities & the parking deck foundations / erection were also key.
Stanford MED
D-studio – 2012
D-studio prototyped and developed a 4D site management environment for the construction phases of the new buildings at Stanford MED. Including 4D models, Primavera P6 link, resource optimization, impact studies and traffic control system.
